SHADOW

DESCRIPTION:
Shadow is an all black intact (prior to Katrina) labrador retriever mix (though he may have some bleached areas from the contaminated water...especially around his muzzle). He is 5 1/2 yrs old. He weighed 93 lbs prior to Katrina. He has a flat-black coat and had no grey or white before the storm and has distinctive brown eyes. He has a longer snout and longer legs than a purebred lab as he is part Walker hound. When standing on his hind legs he is 5'3" or so (a large, tall dog). He is very mild-mannered and friendly, loves attention, and is probably missing his family.

Shadow was last seen on a rooftop on the corner of Nancy Drive and Judge Perez Dr. in St. Bernard Parish, LA. He was with his brother, another black lab mix named Blade. Shadow originally had a blue collar with his vets name, tags, and rabies tags, and his owner's home phone number was engraved on the back. The last person who saw Shadow said he didnt remember seeing the collar on him. Blade had a bright orange collar on and his owner's name was on the collar(Mike Bauer). Their home is in the 2800 Block of Maureen Lane.
